Breakaway Outreach UK is part of a global network of missional communities aligned to reach youth for Christ, serve the marginalised, develop next generation youth leaders, and strengthen the local church.
In 2016, a conversation began on an airplane with an American youth worker and a UK church leader about what it would look like to use an American Sports Camp as a gospel-centred outreach to underserved youth in Belfast, Northern Ireland. One year later, our first sports camp was launched in the region, and a new movement was born that has become a catalyst for multiplying sports ministries and other youth outreach initiatives across the UK.
Breakaway Outreach USA, the parent organisation of Breakaway Outreach UK, was established in 1995 and is a global mission network working with churches and church planting movements in 14+ nations and 4 different continents. Our organisation brings over 30 years of ministry experience in areas of youth ministry development, training youth workers, church planting initiatives, and gospel-centred outreach to the marginalised.
